Join the Pack and Become a Professional Dog Walker or Pet SitterWorking with Pet Sitters Unlimited offers an incredible opportunity to spend time with a variety of animals, Pet sitting and dog walking, while getting exercise, meeting great people and earning supplemental income.Pet sitting assignments range from visiting pets while their parents work or travel, to staying overnight in a client’s home as a Pet Nanny to insure the safety of their pet and home. In general we look for people that can satisfy one or more of the following types of availability:
- Dog Walkers; Either M,W,F or Tues, Thurs – Midday Between (11am to 4pm)
- Pet Sitters; Every day of the week typically 2x’s a day Between (7-10 am) AND (7-10 pm) (or) for 1x a day visits during service hours.
- Overnight Pet Nanny’s; to stay with the animals overnight typically for stays of 1 day to 3 weeks.
To work with Pet Sitters Unlimited, you will need to be crazy about pets, have experience caring for them in some capacity, and have excellent work and personal references. Trustworthiness, plenty of common sense, and an ability to follow detailed instructions are key criteria to working with us.
To be considered you must:
- Be at least 21 years of age;
- Live in one of the area’s we serve;
- Have your own insured, reliable vehicle;
- Have your own cell phone;
- Have your own e-mail account (and home access to a computer);
- Have excellent references and pass a formal background check;
- Must be able to reasonably commit to taking work for at least (1) year.
You should be aware that this type of work is customer service based and is a BIG responsibility…living, breathing animals will be relying on you to be a Calm, Punctual, Organized, Competent, Stable and Consistent care giver.
We hire individuals to meet the needs of our clients and their animals, that are loyal and willing to work hard. THIS IS FOR SUPPLEMENTAL INCOME ONLY AND YOU SHOULD NOT RELY ON THIS POSITION AS YOUR MAIN SOURCE OF INCOME.
